COMPONENTS
The following components are supplied
• Flat nozzle (open the window slightly and put the flat nozzle through the opening).
• Connector x2 (screwed tightly to the hose so that they can be connected to the flat nozzle and the unit)
• Hot air discharge hose
(Some packaging may contain a piece of grey foam rubber, this can be used to seal the gap when you lead
the hose outside via the flat nozzle.)
INSTALLATION
• Place the rear of the unit at least 30 cm from the wall and ensure that there is at least 1.50 m free space
at the front.
• Connect the exhaust hose as flexibly as possible to the flat nozzle or the permanent wall aperture.
• Ensure that no objects or plants are placed in front of the flat nozzle or aperture.
• When you are certain that the above-mentioned rules have been followed and that no further dangerous
situations could arise, push the plug into the socket!
• The unit is now ready for use
NORMAL USE
• Use the centre button to choose the cooling level or the way you wish to use the ventilator.
Please note: when a room is very hot and you have selected the COOLING function, you must select the
lowest speed. The air that is drawn into the unit will then have more time to cool, and the air in the room
will be cooled more quickly.
• Use the thermostat button to select the cooling temperature. The indicator is a graduated scale with the
highest cooling capacity on the left and the lowest capacity on the right.
• Now turn the Timer button to CONT or leave the timer switched off
Please note: This unit has a built-in self-protection system. If the equipment is switched off, you should wait
for three minutes before restarting it. In this way, the refrigerant will be able to re-stabilise.
USE OF TIMER
• Timer for switching off the unit
• The unit has a function that allows the unit to be switched off at a set time.
• Follow the steps described in NORMAL USE. Then turn the timer to the number of hours you would like
the unit to run for before being switched off.
DRAINING OF WATER
In principle, all the water should be drained away via the air outlet by the ingenious evaporation system. If
the unit is operating in a very damp room, however, the reservoir will fill up more quickly than the water is
able to evaporate. In this case the unit will switch off so that the reservoir does not overflow. You can then
empty the unit via the drainage pipe at the rear. Don’t forget to re-tighten the drain plug when you have
finished.
