First of all, we would like to thank you and congratulate you for purchasing this environment-friendly air
conditioner. With it, you will be able to control your ambient climate yourself. The installation is simple and
thanks to the wheels at the bottom, the equipment can also be shifted easily. This air conditioner has been
developed according to the latest developments in the field of air conditioning technology and anticipates
the strictest European laws relating to safety and environment.
In order to guarantee a long life and to optimally use the facilities of the equipment you have purchased, it
is essential that you should read this user manual carefully. Preserve this manual carefully and keep it within
reach so that you can refer to it later on. Persons who are not familiar with the contents of the user manual
should not operate the equipment.
TRANSPORT:
Since your air conditioner contains refrigerant, you should always use and transport the equipment in the
standing position.
After installation, wait for at least 6 hours before you start using the equipment, after transportation
and/or shifting of the equipment. This will allow the refrigerant to settle down and stabilise. If you start the
equipment immediately, you may cause serious damage to it.
GENERAL HINTS BEFORE COMMENCING USE:
The equipment is only suitable for use indoors. However, it should never be used in the bathroom or any
other room with a high level of moisture. The installation of the equipment should always be fully in con-
formity with the local rules and regulations, prescriptions and standards.
Check the mains voltage. The air conditioner is exclusively intended for an earthed socket outlet, connecting
voltage 230 Volt (50 Hz). If an earthed socket outlet is not available, have one installed by a recognised
installer. Never connect the air conditioner using an extension cord. When the air conditioner is not in use,
pull the plug out of the socket outlet.
Always pull the plug out of the socket outlet before you shift the equipment or start to clean the part of
the same. As with every electrical device, exercise particular caution in connection with children in the vicini-
ty of your air conditioner at all times.
Ensure that repairs if any – apart from periodical maintenance – are always carried out by recognised service
persons.
The air conditioner that you have purchased is a safe equipment. It has been manufactured according to the
latest safety standards. However, you should always be careful, as in the case of all electrical devices.
Never clean the equipment by immersing it in water or spraying water on it. If your equipment is dirty,
clean it only with a soft wet cloth and never with aggressive cleaning media.
Only operate the equipment using the buttons provided for the same.
Ensure that the air inlet and outlet are not clogged or covered. The exhaust hose for hot air should not be
folded or jammed in.
Do not place any objects on the equipment and do not keep it in full sunlight.
For the first time, and each time that the machine is started, there is a start-up procedure that takes 3 min-
utes to complete, before the air conditioner goes into operation.
If you do not follow the instructions, there is a danger that the equipment may be damaged. The
Manufacturer’s Guarantee does not cover such damages.
