Press button “I” twice. The display will for about four seconds show the outside
temperature with the indication BUITEN (outside). After this, automatically the current
roomtemperature will come back in the display.
Reading and setting the temperature of the tele-function
Please note: this function is only active if the necessary devices has been installed and
when this function has been activated in the installers-program.
Press button “I” three times (the telefunction-contact must be off when you do this). For
four seconds the display will show the indication TELE with a set temperature and the
indication INSTELLING.
Use the buttons ▲ and ▼ to set the desired temperature. The temperature setting will be
activated at a distance by closing the tele-contact. As long as the contact is closed, the
thermostat keeps on working on the tele-temperature setting, and remains the indication
TELE visible in the display.
You can end this function by either breaking the tele-contact or by pressing START
PROGRAMMA. Now the Chronotherm IV will resume its normal program.
Please note: By switching back from the tele-function to the normal program, virtual all
temporary changes such as warmer/colder, today/tomorrow as Sunday and the holiday/
timer funtion have been cancelled. In order to re-open the tele-function, the tele-contact
has to be broken off first. As a reminder, the thermostat shows, as long as the contact has
not been broken, the indication TELE in the display.
TEMPORARILY CHANGING THE PROGRAM
Changing the temperature setting temporarily
You can alter the temperature of the current period temporarily. This temporary setting is
automatically ended when the next period starts.
Press buttons ▲ and ▼ until you see the desired temperature in the display. During
raising or lowering the temperature you will see the temperature as well as the indications
TIJDELIJK (temporary) and INSTELLING (setting) in the display.
After about four seconds after the last push on a button, the usual information pops back
on the display. In the bottom lefthand corner of the display you will see the indication
TIJDELIJK blink.
To cancell the temporary temperature setting yourself, you press START PROGRAMMA
once. The indication TIJDELIJK disappears from the display . Now your Chronotherm IV
works according toits program again.
