moved, handled or cleaned. Do not tug at the power cord
(19) to disconnect the plug.
4. Unwind the power cord (19) completely. An incomplete-

a fire.
5. Do not use an infinitely variable speed controller. This
can lead to overheating, fire, electric shock, or faults in the
appliance.
6. The fan must only be used after it has been fully and
correctly mounted as described under the "Mounting
Instructions".
7. Do not plunge the fan and the remote control into water
or any other liquids and do not pour water or any other

10. Never push fingers or objects through the blade grid
when the fan is running. This can lead to personal injury
and faults in the appliance.
11. Use only batteries Type AAA, 1.5V in the remote con-
trol. When you replace the batteries, use only new batte-
ries of this type and dispose of the old batteries for recy-
cling and according to your local regulations.
12. If you do not intend to use the remote control (20) for
a longer period (4 weeks or more), remove its batteries.
13. The fan is intended only for private use indoors and
not for commercial use. Do not use the fan near a bathtub,
shower or swimming-pool, or at any location where water

14. Do not operate the fan if it is damaged or could show
signs of damage, or if it does not function properly. Dis-

the fan is standing securely so that it cannot tip over or fall
