General
The lisa ISDN transmitter / lisa RF
ISDN transmitter has been specially
developed for connection to the
Euro-ISDN network.
It reacts to an incoming phone call
for one or more ISDN terminal units.
When a phone call is detected,
radio pulses are transmitted to the
receivers via the standard socket
(triggering a phone signal). The
receiver converts the radio pulses
into light signals/vibrations.
The three different LEDs on the lisa
ISDN transmitter / lisa RF ISDN
transmitter enable you to tell which
ISDN terminal unit is ringing.
Note
The transmitter does not react if no
terminal unit is connected to your
ISDN phone connection. The same
applies if the ringer of your terminal
unit is deactivated.
Setting the correct radio
channel
A special digital transmission pro-
cess ensures that the radio signals
are picked up without errors. This
process also makes it possible to
set 10 different radio channels.
When supplied from the factory, all
lisa units are set to channel 0.
Pager button
Pressing the pager button triggers a
certain sequence of flashes/vibra-
tions on every receiver. This allows
you to call people in other rooms.
Also, this button can be used for
checking the system is functioning
even when no corresponding cables
are connected.
It is only necessary to set units to
other radio channels if there are
several systems being operated at
the same time in the same building.
How to set the channel
Use a small screwdriver to turn the
channel selector switch on the back
of the unit until the arrow is poin-
ting to the required channel number.
