Important Note
The
lisa
TV link is com-
patible with TV liste-
ning systems in the
Infra
Light
series or
comparable infrared TV listening
systems and popular loop amplifiers
(e.g.
LA-215
).
When using a Radio
Light
or com-
parable wireless TV listening
system operating on a frequency of
863 HMz, you will achieve the best
results by keeping a minimum
distance of 2 meters from the
lisa
TV link. This is because the
signals from the wireless TV liste-
ning system and the
lisa
may inter-
fere with one another.
Operation
1. Signal sequence
Once a
lisa
radio signal is detected
by the
lisa
RF TV-Link, this device
converts the signal into the corres-
ponding sound and transmits it to
the TV hearing-aid system connec-
ted. The
lisa
RF TV-Link transmits
the sound for approx. 30 seconds,
during this time, the television volu-
me is turned down.
2. Transmission signal detection
The
lisa
RF TV-Link converts the sig-
nals sent by the
lisa
RF transmitter
into the different sounds (telephone
ringing, doorbell, baby cries, etc.).
At the same time, it is also possible
to see which
lisa
signal has been
sent because the corresponding LED
will either flash or light up for 40 se-
conds.
Fire alarm: Fire-alarm LED lights up
and you can hear the sound of a fire-
engine siren.
Water alarm: Water-alarm LED lights
up and you can hear the sound of
water running.
Telephone: Telephone LED lights up
and you can hear the sound of a
telephone ringing in your TV hearing-
aid system.
Door I: Door LED lights up and you
can hear the sound of a doorbell.
Door II: Door LED flashes and you
can hear the sound of a different
doorbell to the first one.
Babyphone: Baby LED lights up and
you can hear the sound of a baby
crying.
Pager: Pager LED lights up and you
can hear the pager signal.
Alarm: All 6 LEDs flash and you can
