Recalling the most recent signal
The »lisa RF time flash« stores each
signal it receives for a period of 3
minutes.
During this time, you can call up the
signal again by pressing the Light/
Snooze lisa signal cancel switch but-
ton. The signal is then displayed on
the indicator LEDs. A flash signal is
not triggered.
Radio range
The lisa transmitters are designed to
have a radio signal range of 80 me-
ters under optimum conditions.
The following conditions may result in
a reduced range:
-
Signal transmission through building
structures or vegetation
- Interference from TVs, computer
monitors and mobile phones. Under
certain circumstances, this may
prevent the receiver from functio-
ning at all.
- Positioning of the transmitter at an
unfavorable distance from surfaces
which reflect radio waves, for ex-
ample floors and walls. This may
lead to the signal wave being wea-
kened or even cancelled out by the
reflected wave.
- Metallic objects reduce the range
due to the shielding effect of the
metal.
- Particularly in towns and cities, there
maybe many other sources of radio
waves which can disrupt the original
signal.
- Having units operating at similar fre-
quencies located close to one an-
other may also result in mutual inter-
ference.
Special aspects
•Thealarmsignalisrepeatedafter5
minutes (autosnooze) unless you
press the Light/Snooze button or
the alarm ON/OFF button.
•Thequartzmechanismofthealarm
clock has a backup power supply.
The clock will continue to operate
for about 2 hours if there is a power
failure. The alarm function and the
illumination are deactivated during
this period.
• The clock face illumination is also
activated when the alarm is trig-
gered.
•Inadditiontothegreenmarkingof
the Alarm ON/OFF switch, the
snooze button is also illuminated
when the alarm is triggered.
•The »lisa RF time flash« uses a
chase light for signalling an alarm.
During an alarm the 6 LEDs at the
frontside will be switched alternate-
ly, creating the chase light.
•The »lisa RF time flash« converts
the various transmission signals
(Telephone, Doorbell I+II, Baby-
monitor, Pager, Alarm, Water alarm,
Fire alarm) into varying sequences
of flash and signal displays.
