Warranty repairs are only carried out when

the completed warranty card is sent with a

copy of the invoice/receipt of the dealer.

The device number must always be indi-

cated.

Note on the environment / disposal

Disposal of waste electrical and

electronic equipment (applicable in

the countries of the European Union

and other European countries with

a separate collection system for these de-

vices). The symbol on the project or its pa-

ckaging indicates that this product is not to

be treated as normal household waste, but

that it must be returned to a collection point

for the recycling of electrical and electronic

equipment. By ensuring this product is dis-

posed of correctly, you protect the environ-

ment and the health of those around you.

The environment and health are jeopardised

through improper disposal. Material recyc-

ling helps to reduce the consumption of raw

materials. You can obtain more information

about recycling this product from your local

authority, public waste disposal service or

the shop where you purchased the product.

Batteries

The supplied batteries are recyclable. Ple-

ase dispose of batteries via the bat-

tery container or the dealer. To gu-

arantee environmental protection,

only dispose of discharged batteries.

Important note

The device is not protected against splas-

hing water. Do not place objects that are

lled with liquid, such as vases, on the de-

vice. Likewise, no open ames, such as lit

candles, may be placed on the device.

Appendix

Maintenance and care

The telephone is maintenance-free. If it be-

comes dirty, you should occasionally clean

the device with a soft, damp cloth. Never

use alcohol, paint thinner or other organic

solvents. The telephone should not be ex-

posed to direct sunlight for long periods of

time, and it should especially be protected

from excessive heat, moisture and strong

mechanical shocks.

Maintenance

The telephone has a high degree of operating

reliability. Should problems occur, despite

proper installation and operation, please con-

tact your dealer or the manufacturer direct-

ly. The warranty covers free repair and free

return delivery. This requires shipping in the

original packaging, so do not throw this out.

The warranty is void in the case of damage

which was caused by improper handling or

attempted repair by unauthorised persons

(destruction of the seal on the unit).
