4 Operation
4.1 To switch on the product
WARNING: Read and understand the
safety chapter before you switch on
the product.
WARNING: Keep your hands and feet
away from the rotating blades. Do not
put your hands or feet near or below
the product when the motor is running.
WARNING: Do not use the product
when persons, especially children, or
animals, are in the work area.
1. Push the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to
switch on the product.
Note: Make sure that the STOP button is
pushed down.
2. Use the Automower® Connect app to enter
the PIN code. The correct PIN code must be
entered to get access to the menu. If the
incorrect PIN code is entered 5 times, the
product is locked for a time. The lock is
extended for each new incorrect try.
3. Select the desired operating mode in the
Automower® Connect app. Refer to
Operating modes on page 32
.
4. Push the START button to start the product.
If the product is parked in the charging
station, it will only leave the charging station
when the battery is fully charged and if the
Schedule
is set to let the product operate.
4.2 Operating modes
In the Automower® Connect menu the following
operation modes can be selected:
• Main area
• Secondary area
• Park
4.2.1 Main area
Main area
is the standard operating mode where
the product mows and charges automatically.
4.2.2 Secondary area (2nd area)
To mow secondary areas the operating mode
Secondary area (2nd area)
must be selected. In
this mode, the operator must move the product
manually between the main area and the
secondary area. The product mows for a selected
period of time or until the battery is empty.
4.2.3 Park
When the
Park
mode is selected the following
operation selections can be chosen:
• Park until further notice
• Park for a specific number of hours
4.2.3.1 Park until further notice
The product goes to the charging station where it
stays until you select a different operating mode.
