z WÏhile receiving an another station’s trans-
missions, push [BANK/OPTION] for 1 sec.
to enter the option set mode, then set the
either station/repeater call sign into “MYC,”
“YUC,” “R1C” and “R2C.”
x Push [BANK/OPTION] or [MR/CALL] sev-
eral times to select the station call sign
item, “YUC.” Next enter one of the stations
call signs in the “YUC.”
• If the stations are using a repeater, enter the
correct call sign, in the repeater call sign items,
“R1C” or “R2C,” as well.
c Push [BANK/OPTION] or [MR/CALL] sev-
eral times to select the break-in item.
• “BRK--OF” appears.
v Push [
YY
] or
[[ZZ]]
to turn the break-in setting
ON.
• “BRK--ON” appears.
b When both stations are in standby, trans-
mit to send a break-in call.
n Wait for the reply call from the station who
receives the break-in call.
m After you receive the reply, communicate in
a normal way.
, To cancel the break-in, push [BANK/OP-
TION] for 1 sec., then push [
YY
] or [
ZZ
] to
turn OFF.
■ EMG communication
The EMG communication mode is available for Digital modes
operation. In the EMG call, no call sign setting is necessary.
q Set the desired frequency then push [BANK ] for 1
sec. to enter the option set mode.
w Push [BANK ] or [V/MHz] several times to select the
EMG item.
• “EMG--OF” appears.
e Rotate [DIAL] to turn the EMG setting ON.
• “EMG--ON” appears.
rOperate the transceiver in a normal way.
tTo cancel the EMG communication mode, push
[BANK ] for 1 sec., then rotate [DIAL] to turn OFF.
z Set the desired frequency then [BANK/ OP-
TION] for 1 sec. to enter the option set mode.
x Push [BANK/OPTION] or [MR/CALL] sev-
eral times to select the EMG item.
• “EMG--OF” appears.
c Push [
YY
] or [
ZZ
] to select the EMG setting ON.
• “EMG--ON” appears.
v Operate the transceiver in a normal way.
