MEMORY OPERATION
■ Programming in VFO mode
Memory channel programming can be performed ei-
ther in VFO mode or in memory mode.
q Set the desired operating frequency and mode in
VFO mode.
• Push [V/M 1] to select VFO mode, if required.
•Tone frequency, offset frequency, etc., can also be pro-
grammed.
•Input the frequency from the keypad
Push [F-INP ENT] ⇒ [1] ⇒ [4] ⇒ [4] ⇒ [.] ⇒ [2] ⇒ [6]
⇒ [8] ⇒ [F-INP ENT]
w Push [DN ▼] or [▲ UP] to select the desired mem-
ory channel to be programmed.
e Push [MW 4] for 1 sec. to program the displayed
frequency and operating mode into the memory
channel.
To check the programmed contents, push [V/M 1] to
select memory mode.

mode
q Push [V/M 1] to select memory mode.
w Push [DN ▼] or [▲ UP] to select the desired mem-
ory channel to be programmed.
•The tuning dial rotation while pushing [F-INP ENT] also
selects memory channel.
e Set the desired operating frequency and mode in
the memory mode.
•Tone frequency, offset frequency, etc., can also be pro-
grammed.
•Set the desired operating frequency using with the key-
pad when programming into blank channels. The tuning
dial rotation for frequency setting cannot be performed
when a blank channel is selected.
•Input the frequency from the keypad
