Important Safety Instructions
Please read this instruction manual carefully before use.
• Connect the device to alternating current only (pay attention to the rating plate)
• Fill the tank with cold water only
• Heating plate is very hot during use – danger of burns!
• Never place the glass pot on the hot heating plate if there is no liquid in the pot
• Do not place the power cord on the hot heating plate
• Never immerse the device in water
• Before making coffee for the first time, run 2-3 cycles with clear water only
• Before cleaning, disconnect the power plug from the socket
• Children are not able to recognize the dangers connected with using electric devices, therefore do not let
children use the device unattended
• After use, set the switch to Off position
• Decalcify the device regularly, it will prolong its operational life
• Should the power cord be damaged, in order to avoid any hazard it must be replaced by our Customer
Service or a similarly qualified person.
First Use
Before making coffee for the first time, perform the brewing process 2-3 times with fresh water only (without
coffee powder): lift the lid up, fill the water tank with fresh water, insert the filter on the pot, place the glass pot
on the heating plate and switch the device on.
Once the water has run through the filter, switch the device off and after ca. 5 minutes repeat the process with
fresh water.
