“Intensive wash” button

• Choose this option if you use an in-wash

additive for stain removal - it will optimize

the additive’s eciency to get better wash

performance and stain removal.

• Use with the maximum load. Add an appropriate

of in-wash additive for stain removal (powder) to

the main wash.

• May prolong the programme by up to 10

minutes. Appropriate for use of stain removers

and bleaches on oxygen basis. Chlorine or

perborate bleches must not be used!

“Extra Rinse” button

• Helps to avoid detergent residues in the laundry

by extending the rinse phase.

• Particularly suitable for washing baby laundry,

for people suering from allergies and for areas

with soft water.

“Energy Saver” button

• Saves energy used for water heating while

maintaining good wash result.

• Recomentable for lightly soiled laundry without

stains.

• Make sure that your detergent is suitable for

cold wash temperatures (15 or 20 °C).

• Mainly selectable on the lowest temperature

step of the programmes.

“Spin Speed” button

• Every programme has a predened spin speed.

• Press the button to set another spin speed.

• If spin speed “0” is selected, the nal spinning is

cancelled but intermediate spin peaks remain

during the rinse. The water is drained out only.

START DELAY

To set the selected programme to start at a later

time, press the “Start delay” button to set the

desired delay time. The lamp for the “Start delay”

option button lights up, and it goes o when the

programme starts. Once having pressed the “Start/

Pause” button, the countdown of the time delay

begins. The time delay indication on the display

disappears when the programme starts and it

is replaced by the remaining programme time.

Number of hours preselected can be reduced by

pressing the “Start delay” button again. Do not

use liquid detergent when activating this option.

To cancel the “Start delay” turn the programme

selector to another position.

PROGRAMME START

Open the tap and press the “Start/Pause” button.

The blinking light next to the “Start/Pause” button

becomes constant. The programme sequence

indicator shows the current programme phase,

running from left to right through Wash, Rinse,

Spin/Drain. When the programme phase is nised,

the corresponding indication goes out.

“LID LOCKED” INDICATION

After start of a program the lamp lights up to

indicate that the lid can not be opened. As long

as a wash programme is running, the lid remains

locked and must on no account be forced open.

In case you have an urgent need to open it during

a running programme, refer to “Cancel a running

programme before the end”.

FAILURE INDICATIONS

In case of any failures or irregularities, consult the

“Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use.

“Water tap closed” -

No or not sucient inlet water.

“Service” -

Failure or malfunction of an electrical component.

“Clean pump” -

Waste water is not pumped out.

Spin speed indication blinks: unbalance during

spinning.

PREPARATION OF THE WASH CYCLE

Load the washing machine, close the drum door

and check that it is closed properly.

2. Pour in the detergent and any additives, as

described overleaf and in the instruction

manual.

3. Close the lid.

4. Turn the programme selector to the desired

programme and temperature. The time display

shows the duration of the chosen programme

(in hours and minutes), and the lamp next to the

“Start/Pause” button ashes. The indication

lamp of the predened spin speed lights up. If

you do not start the programe soon after having

made your choice, the washing machine will

switch o automatically after about a quarter of

an hour. Switch on the washing machine again

by turning the programe selector back to ”O“

and then to the desired programe.

SELECT ANY DESIRED OPTION

When the combination of programme and

additional option(s) is not possible, the indication

lights switch o automatically. Unsuitable

combinations of options are deselected

automatically.

“Prewash” button

• Only for heavily soiled loads (for example

sand, granular dirt). Increases the cycle time by

approximately 19 min.

• Do not use liquid detergent for the main wash

when activating the Prewash option.

•

PROGRAMME END

The “Lid locked” indication lights o. After about

a quarter of an hour, the washing machine will

switch o completely to save energy.

1. Turn the programme selector to the “O”

position.

2. Close the water tap.

3. Open lid and drum and unload the machine.

4. Leave the lid open for some time to allow the

interior of the machine to dry.

CHANGE PROGRAMME AND/OR OPTIONS

AFTER PROGRAMME START

Press the “Start/Pause” button to pause the

programme. The light blinks.

2. Select the new programme, temperature, any

options and another spin speed if you want.

3. Press the “Start/Pause” button again. The new

programme continues at the same position

where the previous programme was interrupted.

Do not add detergent for this programme.

CANCEL A RUNNING PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END

The “Reset/Drain” button cancels a programme

before the end.

• Press the “Reset/Drain” button for at least 3

seconds. The water is drained out; it may last a

while until you can open the lid.

Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance with standard IEC/EN 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with

respect to the values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.Water and energy consumption refer

to the default setting of the programmes; selecting special options or modifying spin speed or temperature will change the consumption data.

The programme duration may dier from the values indicated above as it depends on the operation conditions applicable at that time (see also

“Troubleshooting Guide” in your Instructions for Use).

Approximete remaining moisture content (%). After programme end and spinning with maximum selectable spin speed, in default programme setting.

* To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out.

** Reference Programmes for Energy Label. For reasons of energy saving, the real water temperature may deviate from the declared cycle temperature.
