How to change the power supply cable

The power supply cable is spe-

cial and can be purchased ex-

clusively from authorised

Technical Service Centres.

To replace it, do as follows:

1. Make sure that the washing

machine is switched off and un-

plugged.

2. Remove the appliance base

and unscrew the 2 screws on

the bottom right-hand side, then

unscrew the 6 rear screws, on

the left-hand side, and remove

the side panel by tipping it

slightly outwards and pulling it

out. (fig. 1 and 2).

3. Disconnect the electricity sup-

ply to the radio interference sup-

presser by removing the connec-

tor (fig. 3).

4. Unscrew the 2 outer filter fas-

tening screws and, with the help

of a screwdriver (see fig. 4), re-

lease it from the back panel by

pulling upwards.

5. Once you have positioned the

new power supply cable, recon-

nect the connector, making sure

the safety hook is securely in

place.

You must contact a qualified pro-

fessional to replace the power

supply cable. The same must re-

spect the applicable norms in

force.
