CONNECTIONS
Use the included 1/8” cables to connect the pads, as
shown in the picture.
The crash pad has two connections. Connect Output
A to Input 5, and connect Output B to Input 6. With
the crash pad, you can “choke” the crash sound by
grabbing the front of the pad with your hand.
Connect the module to your computer, using the
included USB cable. The necessary drivers will
install automatically.
OPTIONAL: Use a 5-pin MIDI cable (not included) to
connect the MIDI OUT to a MIDI device, such as a
drum machine.
When finished, insert the included CD into your
computer’s CD-ROM drive to begin the software
installation process.
Vista Users: for best drum and game software
performance, we recommend installing the
ASIO4ALL driver (www.asio4all.com) and using your
onboard audio card.
NOTES
If you prefer, you can use the crash pad as a ride
pad instead. In this scenario, connect Output A to
Input 10, and Output B to Input 11. Note, however,
that the songs in the software game do not include
parts for the ride cymbal, but do include parts for a
crash cymbal.
