RC-80 wireless keyfob
The RC-80 is a component of J ablotron’s O asis 80
alarm system. It is design ed to remotely contr ol
setting/unsett ing, trigger panic ala rms, and control
other applianc es. The battery -powered k eyfob
communicates v ia OASIS radio protocol.

Enrolling the keyfob to an Oasis
control panel
A pair o f the keyfob buttons can be enro lled to a control
panel by pressing and holding both buttons. Proc eed as
follows :
1. Put the control p anel into Se rvice mode v ia the
system keypad and pre ss key 1 to enter
enrollm ent mo de. Usi ng the arr ow key s, selec t the
desired address .
2. Pr ess and hold

of buttons you wish to enro ll) simult aneously until
three flashes on the keyfob LED are seen.
3. Ex it enrol lment mode by pressing the # key on the
keypad controllin g the control pa nel.
• T he natur al reacti on of the pa ir of butt ons is set ting
and unsetting for each butt on respectively, and
panic alarm triggering b y pressing both buttons
together. If a reaction other than natural is assigned
to the ke yfob’s address in the con trol panel, th e
reaction will only be t riggered by b uttons
or
(according to whic h pair was enrolled).
• If you enroll two pairs of butt ons on a single keyfob
to two differen t addresses in the control p anel, then
different r eactions and sections c an be ass igned to
each pair of buttons. This means, for example , one
pair coul d set/un set the com plete sy stem, an d the
other pair could be used for part ial setting.

simply installin g a battery i nto the keyfob .
• If a sing le pair o f buttons is enro lled to the control
panel, the t wo remaining button s can be used to
control another device such as e.g. a Jablotron ca r
alarm, or UC- 8x an d AC-8x rec eivers.
Testing the keyfob
The strength and quality of key fob radio sig nals can
be checked a nd measur ed by the control pa nel in
Service mode.
Locking the k eyfob
If all four buttons on the key fob are used, all keys
can be locke d or unl ocked by pressing a diagonal
button pair ( + or + ). When the key s are
locked, the keyfob LED flashes r apidly if an y button
is pressed (no signals are s ent under the se
conditions).
Using the keyfob with other products
In addition to O asis co ntrol pane ls, the key fob can
also be used with oth er Jablot ron products that
communicate v ia Oasis proto col. Ex amples are
relay receiv ers type UC -8x and AC- 8x. Guidance on
using the key fobs can be found i n the manu als of
the desired r eceiver.
Battery replacement
If the wor king ran ge of the ke yfob begins to reduc e, or if
functio ning stop s altogeth er, then replace th e battery.
The keyfob can be eas ily opene d by unscrew ing the r ear
screw.
Expired batteries sh ould not be thro wn into the
garbage, but disposed of accord ing to local regul ations.
Removing the keyfob from the system
If you wish t o remov e the keyfob from the sy stem,
e.g. if it has been lost, era se it from its address in
the contr ol panel .
