ATTENTION

• Lisez attentivement ces instructions avant de mettre l’appareil

• Cet appareil peut être utilisé par les enfants de plus de 8

ans et les personnes handicapées physiques, sensorielles ou

mentales réduites ou sans expérience ni connaissance, si

elles ont reçu l’instruction ou la surveillance pertinentes

concernant l’utilisation de l’appareil d’une façon sûre et

comprennent les dangers qu’il implique.

• Put again the lid (1) turning clockwise until the top.

• Place the jar with the lid, or the cups, under the filter holder and switch on the coffee maker into the

main.

• Turn the function knob (3) to coffee position ( ). It will switch on the pilot light (2) and coffee will

take a while to start to flow.

• Once the coffee has finished out or it is as you want, place the knob (3) in off position “0”.

• If you want to remove the jug when the coffee is going out, place the function knob (3) in “PAUSA”

position, doing that the coffee will stop. If you want again more coffee place the knob (3) in the coffee

position ( ).

• Important: wait 2-3 minutes before removing the filter holder or open the lid to eliminate from the

coffee maker all pressure.

STEAM

• This coffee maker is provided with a steamer (4) to heat milk or other liquids.

• Pour the necessary amount of water into the tank. Bear in mind that the use of the steamer requires a

greater quantity of water than the level shown for the desired number of cups of coffee.

• Pour the liquid to be heated into the jar or another container and insert the steamer into it. Turn the

knob (3) into the steam position ( ).

• Once the liquid is hot, turn the knob (3) to the off position “0”.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Before you proceed to cleaning make sure the coffee maker is unplugged from the mains.

• Remove the tray to clean it.

• Clean the coffee maker body with a slightly damp cloth.

• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, etc. which may deteriorate the surfaces of

the appliance.

• One or twice a year it is advisable to clean the tank to eliminate the alkaline deposits that with use may

appear in the water. It is convenient to treat them as follows:

- Pour a 50% white vinegar solution into the tank and wait for 15 minutes.

- Plug in the coffee maker without coffee in the filter and allow all the solution to flow out.

- Next, make the coffee maker work only with water a couple of times.

• Cleaning the steamer: pull the plastic piece, that covers the steamer downwards. In case of obstruction

use a needle to clean the steam hole.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.

• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
