CD PLAYER

Program track playback

• You can program the CD player to play a desired sequence of up to 20 tracks. Press the button (48)

before starting to program d tracks.

• Press the PROG./REPEAT button (46) to switch to

programming mode. The display shows MEMORY and the

storage place number P--01 (Fig. 9).

• Select a track with TUNE-(51) or TUNE+(35)

and conﬁrm the selection with the PROG./REPEAT

button (46).

• The next storage place number will be shown on the

display, e.g. P--02. Proceed as above to program other

tracks.

• Press the button (50), in order to begin the playback of the programmed tracks. The display shows

MEMORY.

• Press the button (48) to erase the program. The program will also be erased if you open the CD

compartment (2), press the FUNC button (32) or the ON/STANDBY button (30).

The repeat function can be combined with playing of a program. Refer to paragraph “Repeat

function”.

Playback MP3-CD

• In the following section the differences in playing a MP3-CD are described.

• Since the MP3-CDs can contain many more tracks, it could take longer until the CD player has read all of

the contents.

• The CD will automatically be played. On the display the

number of directories and tracks and the elapsed time

are shown. (Fig. 10).

• A maximum of 99 directories and 999 tracks can be

read.

• If there are folders on the MP3-CD, use

MEM./FOLDER+(38) or MEM./FOLDER-(49) to select

the next or previous folder.

Repeat function

• You can set this function only during playback of a track. There are three repeat options when playing a

MP3-CDs.

• Press the PROG./REPEAT button (46) once in order to repeat the track being played. REPEAT will be shown

on the display.

• Press the PROG./REPEAT button twice to repeat the entire CD. REPEAT ALL will be shown on the display.

• Press the PROG./REPEAT button three times to repeat all tracks inside a folder. REPEAT ALBUM will be

shown on the display.

• Press the PROG./REPEAT button four times to switch off the function.
