Softkey 3 : Select
Selecting this option will display the thumbnails of the
album, but with a twist. Each Thumb has a small white
rectangle in its upper left corner.
This indicates that this picture will be used In the slide
show. By default either none or all pictures in the album
are selected. You can navigate the Thumbs using the
joystick in the normal
manner. Pressing the joystick will Select or Deselect the
image for inclusion in the slide show.
Softkey 5 : Start
When done, press the Start button to start the slide show.
Slide shows can be shown on the LCD screen or you can
use the video out and connect GigaVu to a TV set.
Remark : Slideshows will work with JPEG files only.
View Dust
While changing lenses on Digital Single Lens Reflex
(DSLR) cameras, dust can enter the camera and stick to
the sensor. This means that cameras need to be cleaned
sometimes in the field. GigaVu offers a unique dust
detection feature that helps you trace the small dust spots.
- Make a picture of an even surface (blue sky, white
wall etc) using a high aperture value.
- Transfer the picture to GigaVu . This creates a new
album
- Press Home
- Press Softkey 1 – Photo
- Use the joystick to select the Album
- Press View
- Select View Dust
- Select the picture of the even surface and press
Softkey 5 – Check
The device will indicate the position of dust particles on
the screen and it gives you feedback about the success of
a cleaning attempt.
Use Softkeys 1 and 2 for adjusting the sensitivity.
