But you don’t always have to choose a castle straight in front of you; you can attack those
to the left and right too (but remember, you can’t attack
diagonally). In this way, you work your way up to the three big castles at the back (III).
If you encounter a dragon, you will not be able to advance. There are no dragons on the
dice, and a piece with a dragon can never be removed from the board. So you have to try to
find a good place for them when you set up your pictures.
Capturing the flag:
Once you have removed a castle in the back row (the fourth row), regardless of how you
have made a path to the back, you can choose one of the three big castles during your
next turn (IV).
If you choose the jester, you can remove this castle, and you can choose one of the two
remaining castles during your next turn.
If you choose the robber baron then you’re out of luck. Your opponent can then put all of
his or her captured pieces back on the board any way he or she chooses. You will then have
to start all over again. But the robber baron does have to be removed from the board!
If you choose the flag, then you have won the game.

Junior
Stratego Junior è un gioco emozionante per 2 giocatori e se hai già 5 anni, puoi giocarlo
anche tu. Per vincere devi riuscire a catturare la bandiera dell’avversario, ma non è così
facile come sembra, perché non sai dove si nasconde. Nei castelli del tuo avversario,
infatti, sono sono nascosti tanti personaggi diversi e solo dopo un’attenta ricerca riuscirai a
scoprire il nascondiglio della sua bandiera. Attento però a non perdere tempo o sarà lui a
scoprire dove hai nascosto la tua!
Nella scatola trovi:
Un piano di gioco, un dado speciale, 16 piccoli castelli rossi, 3 castelli rossi più grandi,
16 piccoli castelli azzurri, 3 castelli azzurri più grandi, 19 tesserine in cartone fustellato
con il bordo rosso, 19 tesserine in cartone fustellato con il bordo azzurro.
Quando giochi la prima partita:
Stacca le 19 tesserine con il bordo rosso.
Prendi quelle che raffigurano la bandiera, il brigante e il buffone ed inseriscile nei tre
castelli rossi più grandi, in modo che l’immagine sia visibile (I). Prendi le altre 16 ed
inseriscile nei piccoli castelli rossi, in modo che l’immagine sia visibile.
Ora ripeti l’operazione con le 19 tesserine con il bordo azzurro, inserendole nei castelli
azzurri (la bandiera, il brigante e il buffone in quelli più grandi, le altre in quelli piccoli).
