4 Permanent settings in programming mode
In the programme item ‘Machine settings (4/6)’/ ‘Machine’ you can
reset various settings to their factory settings:
U
‘Machine’
U
All user settings (apart from the ‘filter’ and ‘water hardness’)
are reset to factory settings. Your IMPRESSA then switches
off.
U
‘Product’
U
The settings (amount of water, aroma, temperature etc.) for
any product can be reset individually to the factory settings.
The corresponding double product is also reset to the fac-
tory settings at the same time.
U
‘All products’
U
The settings (amount of water, aroma, temperature etc.) for
all products are reset to the factory settings.
U
‘Display settings’
U
All display settings are reset to the factory settings.
Example:Proceed as follows to reset the values for
‘Espresso’ to the
factory settings.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’ is displayed.

‘Maintenance status (1/6)’
g T Turn the Rotary Switch until the programme item ‘Machine
settings (4/6)’
is displayed.
T Press the
‘Machine’ button.
‘Machine’
T Press the ‘Product’ button.

T Press the ‘Espresso’ button.
‘Espresso’ / ‘Reset this product to the factory setting?’
T Press the ‘Yes’ button.
‘Saved’ appears briefly on the display.
