Ⅲ Place a sufficiently large receptacle under the height-adjustable
dual spout (Fig. 6).
Ⅲ Fill a receptacle with approx. 4 dl of water and add 1 1/2 capfuls of
JURA cappuccino cleaning agent. Dip the two milk hoses into the
solution (Fig. 8/B).
Ⅲ Press the Clean Dual Spout key (Fig. 5/J).

16.13 Changing the filter
After 50 litres of water, the CLARIS plus filter cartridge will need
to be replaced. If the capacity exceeds 5%, a message on the
display will prompt you to change the filter. If it exceeds 10%,
the display will read CHANGE NOW

Ⅲ Open the programming door (Fig. 4) and press the Filter key (Fig.
5/B).

Ⅲ To change the filter, press the P button or the Filter button
(Fig. 5/B):

Ⅲ EMPTY the water tank and insert the filter cartridge in the tank
together with the cartridge holder, applying gentle pressure. Push
the cartridge holder into position until it engages audibly (Fig. 17).
Ⅲ Fill the water tank with cold, fresh tap water and reinstall it in the
machine.
Ⅲ Place a sufficiently large receptacle under the pivoting hot water
spout (U).
Ⅲ Press the Hot Water key (T / ).
FILTER RINSE
Ⅲ The flow of water stops automatically.

The water might be slightly discoloured (no hazard to health).

16.14 Decalcifying
Once started, the decalcifying program must not be interrupted. It
takes approx. 40 minutes.
If you are using a CLARIS filter cartridge, you must always re-
move it before decalcifying.
You can only decalcify the machine if it is not in filter mode or if
a service technician has performed the corresponding configu-
ration.
It is possible that any descaling during programming of the
CLARIS plus filter cartridge can only be started by the JURA
service technician.
