WARNING

• If the fuse blows, first make sure the wires aren’t touching to cause

a short circuit then replace the old fuse with one with the same

rating.

• Do not let pebbles, sand or metallic objects get inside the unit.

• Do not touch the unit during use because the surface of the unit

becomes hot and may cause burns if touched.

CAUTION

This unit is designed to operate on 12 V DC, NEGATIVE ground

electrical systems. JVC recommends consulting a qualified technician

for installation.

• To prevent short circuits while making connections, keep the

battery’s negative terminal disconnected.

• This unit uses BTL (Balanced Transformerless) amplifier circuitry,

i.e., floating ground system, so comply with the following:

– Do not connect the “·” terminals of the speakers to each other.

– Do not connect the “·” terminals of the speakers to the metal

body or chassis.

• Cover the unused leads with insulating tape to prevent them from

short circuiting.

• DO NOT disassemble the unit since there are no user serviceable

parts inside.

• To keep the heat dissipation mechanism running effectively, wipe

the accumulated dust off periodically.

• Listening to the tape, radio, CD or digital audio player, etc. with

the volume set at a high level for a long period of time will exhaust

the battery, while the engine is turned off or while the engine is

idling.

• Use the speakers which have sufficient capacity to the unit.

AVERTISSEMENT

• Si un fusible saute, assurez-vous d’abord que les câbles n’ont

pas causé de court-circuit puis remplacez le vieux fusible par un

nouveau de même valeur.

• Ne pas laisser pénétrer de cailloux, de sable ou d’objets

métalliques dans I’appareil.

• Ne pas toucher l’appareil quand il est en service car la température

de sa surface est suffisamment élevée pour provoquer des

brûlures.

ATTENTION

Cet appareil est conçu pour fonctionner avec système électrique de

12 V CC avec mise à la masse NÉGATIVE. JVC vous recommande de

consulter un technicien qualifié pour l’installation.

• Pour éviter les courts-circuits lors des connexions, laissez la prise

négative de la batterie débranchée.

• Cet appareil utilise un circuit d’amplification BTL (symétrique sans

transformateur), c’est à dire un système à masse flottante par

conséquent veuillez vous conformer à ce qui suit:

– Ne connectez pas les prises “·” des enceintes l’une à l’autre.

– Ne connectez pas les prises “·” des enceintes au corps

métallique ou au châssis.

• Recouvrir les files inutilisés avec du ruban isolant pour éviter de les

court-circuiter.

• NE DEMONTEZ PAS l’appareil. Il n’y a aucune pièce réparable par

l’utilisateur à l’ntérieur.

• Pour que le mécanisme de dissipation de la chaleur fonctionne

effectivement, essuyer régulièrement la poussière qui s’accumule.

• Écouter la cassette, la radio, un CD, un lecteur audio numérique,

etc. avec le volume réglé sur un niveau élevé pendant une longue

période de temps, use la batterie quand le moteur est arrêté ou

quand la voiture est au ralenti.

• Utilisez des enceintes d’une capacité suffisante avec l’appareil.





ADVERTENCIA

• Si se funde un fusible, asegúrese primero de que los cables no

estén en contacto pues pueden ocasionar un cortocircuito, luego

reemplace el fusible dañado por otro de las mismas características.

• Impida la entrada de objetos metálicos, arena o piedrecillas dentro

de la unidad.

• No toque el aparato mientras lo utiliza porque su superficie se

calienta y puede causar quemaduras si se toca.

PRECAUCIÓN

Esta unidad está diseñada para operar con sistemas eléctricos de

12V CC, con NEGATIVO a masa. Para la instalación, JVC le recomienda

consultar con un técnico cualificado.

• Para evitar cortocircuitos durante las conexiones, mantenga

desconectado el terminal negativo de la batería.

• Esta unidad emplea un circuito amplificador BTL (sin

transformador equilibrado), es decir, un sistema de masa flotante

y por lo tanto debe cumplir con lo siguiente:

– No conecte entre sí los terminales “·” de los altavoces.

– No conecte los terminales “·” de los altavoces a la carrocería

metálica ni al chasis.

• Cubra los cables que no están en uso con cinta adhesiva, para

evitar cortocircuitos.

• NO desarme la unidad; en el interior no hay piezas que pueda

reparar el usuario.

• Para mantener en funcionamiento efectivo el mecanismo de

disipación de calor, limpie periódicamente el polvo acumulado.

• La batería se descargará si escucha una cinta, radio, CD o

reproductor de audio digital, etc. a un volumen alto por un tiempo

prolongado, con el motor apagado o funcionando al ralentí.

• Utilice altavoces con capacidad suficiente para la unidad.
