1. Safety references

All Recticel-bedsystems are manufactured after the newest technical possibilities and regarding

highest lying and control comfort. During the construction much importance is attached on the

simple handling and operation.

1.1. Proper and Intended Usage

Only use it as sleeping furniture in the household (HOME), do not serve as sporting equipment or

for playing.

Use the system exclusive for their intended use. Any other form of usage is not

permitted and can lead to accidents or destruction of the unit. Such non-approved

applications will lead immediately to expiration of all guarantee and warranty claims.

1.2. Danger of Accident

With all mobile parts squeezing and cutting places are possible.

Avoid therefore the contact with these during stroke  and lowering.

Consider the load of the bedframe, since it can come die to overload in extreme cases to a

material fatigue and thus to the material fracture. Pay attention to the manipulation of the

remote control through third.

Improper usage

The bedsystem should not be used:

>as a medical product,

>in any environment where combustible or explosive gases or vapours (e.g.

anesthesiology) may be present,

>in a moist environment,

>outdoors

>by small children

>by frail or infirm persons without supervision

>in the proximity of small children

You should only use spare parts which have been approved by manufacturer. Only

these parts will guarantee a sufficient level of safety.

1.3. References to the Electrical Equipment

Avoid any kind of the damage of the supplying cable [mains cable] of the drive system, for Ex.

movement of the bedstead or by cleaning equipment. Getting jammed or bending the cables is

to be avoided. Make sure all moving parts have enough free space as the malfunction of the

lifting and lowering devices may lead to an overload of the drive system and subsequently

possible break down. In this case the system may stop in a position that is unsuitable for use.

Do not use constantly for more than 2 minutes as this may lead to damages not covered by the

manufacturer.
