Water tank safety feature

This unit is equipped with a fail-safe switch mechanism, which prevents the unit from

condensing water in the event the water tank is accidentally displaced and/or full with

water. If this situation occurs, the unit will signal 8 beeps and the WATER FULL indicator will

flash red continuously until the water tank is correctly positioned and/or emptied.

NOTE: the fan motor will continue to operate under this condition. This is normal, but no

cooling or dehumidifying will occur until the tank is emptied and/or correctly installed (it

may take several minutes before the compressor resumes normal operation).

CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE

If you wish to operate the unit without the need to empty the water tank:

 Remove the seal of the drainage tube

(location as l in the picture).

 Extend the tube outside the unit for

drainage, as indicated on the picture.

 The drain tube may be extended by adding

an extension tube and using a suitable

connector. Connect the other end of the

drainage tube into a drain. (e.g. cesspit)

 Pay attention to putting the tube in the

proper situation in order to avoid causing

the electric control cannot work normally.

MAINTENANCE

Always unplug the air conditioner from the mains before cleaning.

Clean the filter regularly.

Cleaning the housing

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the body clean.

Never use aggressive chemicals, gasoline, detergents, chemically treated cloths, or

other cleansing solutions. These all could possibly damage the housing.

Cleaning the filter

 Open the protection grid of the

filter by pulling at the upper hook.

 Take the filter out of the appliance.

 Rinse the filter under lukewarm

running water (not more than 40°C)

and let it dry (not in the sun).

 Put the filter back in the appliance.

NEVER OPERATE THE APPLIANCE WITHOUT FILTER.
