and folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm

width x 210 mm height). When folding, make sure you

keep the good numbering when you turn the pages of

the I/B. Don’t change the page numbering. Keep the

Please read, follow and keep this instruction manual. Before using your appliance for the first

time, charge the accumulator during approximately 16 hours. A fully charged accumulator will

give approximately 20 to 25 minutes of use.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the

safety and operating instructions.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,

due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,

must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their

safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.

Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

 Before using the appliance, check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on

the appliance.

 Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

 Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these

instructions.

 Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.

 Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

 Do not use the appliance if the adapter or its cord is damaged. The adapter is not

repairable, it has to be returned to the seller during guarantee period or thrown away

when the guarantee has expired. In that case it has to be replaced by an identical

model.

 Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a cool and dry environment.

 Never use accessories or an adapter that are not recommended by the producer (see

characteristics of the adapter). They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to

damage the appliance.

 Do not insert any objects into the openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.

 Do not use without cloth in place.

 Do not use on stairs.

 Never fill the water tank with undiluted vinegar, descaling agent or any other chemical

product.

 Do not operate the appliance without water in the tank.

 NEVER FILL THE WATER TANK WHILE THE APPLIANCE IT IS ATTACHED TO THE ADAPTOR.

 Before each cleaning/maintenance unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket.

 Never replace the batteries yourself. If the batteries have to be replaced, please contact

a competent qualified electrician(*).

 When you decide to throw away the appliance, make sure to remove the batteries and

to dispose of them in an ecological manner by handing them in at a place destined to

this end.

 Always unplug the appliance before removing the batteries.

 If liquid coming out of the batteries comes in contact with clothes or with skin, immediately

clean the polluted surface with clear water and consult a doctor.

 If the appliance contains rechargeable batteries, do not replace them with ordinary

batteries.

(*) Competent qualified service: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to

avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this service.
