5. Set the current minute by pressing the Skip Down |◄◄ or Skip Up ►►| button. Press the MEM/
CLK-ADJ button again. The time is now set.
Notes:
• The clock setting mode will automatically quit in case there is no button pressed within 5 seconds
after pressing the MEM/CLK-ADJ button.
• The set time will be deleted if the unit is disconnected from the power supply. In such a case you
need to reset the clock.
Alarm Clock Setting (via remote control)
This unit enables you to set an alarm. You can select to wake to CD, USB, SD or radio.
1. To set an alarm, press and hold for 2 seconds the ALARM button on the remote control. The
symbol and the hour of the alarm will ash.
2. Set the desired hour by pressing the Skip Down |◄◄ or Skip Up ►►| button.
3. Press the ALARM button again. The minutes will start ashing.
4. Set the desired minutes by pressing the Skip Down |◄◄ or Skip Up ►►| button.
5. Press the ALARM button again to select the wake up mode.
6. Select between CD, USB, SD or TUNER by pressing the Skip Down |◄◄ or Skip Up ►►| button.
7. Press the ALARM button again to set the wake up volume.
8. Set the desired wake up volume by pressing the Skip Down |◄◄ or Skip Up ►►| button.
9. Press the ALARM button again. The alarm is now set.
Activating/Deactivating an Alarm
• To activate a previously set alarm, press the ALARM button once.
• The alarm symbol appears in the display. The alarm will now ring at the previously set time.
• To deactivate a set alarm, press the ALARM button once. The alarm symbol will disappear
from the display. The alarm is now deactivated and will not ring.
Stopping an Active Alarm
• When the alarm is sounding, press either the ON/STANDBY I/ button or the ALARM button to
turn it off. The alarm will sound again at the set time on the next day.
Snooze (via remote control)
The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm for 9 minutes. To do so, press the SNOOZE
button once while the alarm is active. The alarm will stop and come on again after 9 minutes.
“SNOOZE” will be shown in the display during this period. To turn off this function, press the ALARM
button.
Sleep Function (via remote control)
The sleep function enables you to set a countdown timer after which the unit will turn itself into standby
mode automatically.
1. While listening to any mode, repeatedly press the SLEEP button on the remote control to select a
desired countdown after which the unit will turn itself into standby automatically.
2. You can select 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20 or 10 minutes. “ZZZ” will be shown in the display.
3. If you want to cancel the function, press the SLEEP button repeatedly until “SLP-OFF” appears in
the display. “ZZZ” will disappear from the display.
Volume Setting
• You can set the volume by pressing the VOL+/VOL- buttons on the remote control.
• You can also set the volume by rotating the volume knob on the fron of the unit. Turn the knob
clockwise to increase the volume, and counter-clockwise to decrease the volume. Only turn the
knob until you hear a clicking noise. Do not overturn the volume knob as this may lead to dam-
age.
