2. Operation

Operation with high-pressure

• Open the water supply.

• Release the lever of the gun with the safety rat-

chet and pull the lever.

• Turn on the appliance switch.

Note:The appliance is equipped with a pressure-

operated switch. The motor starts only if the le-

ver of the gun is pulled.

• Selecting type of jet:

Rotate body of three-way nozzle until required

symbol lines up with mark (5a).

Meaning of symbols

High-pressure pencil jet (0°) for parti-cularly

stubborn dirt

High-pressure fan jet (25°) for large areas of

dirt

Low-pressure fan jet (CHEM) for use with

detergents or cleaning at low pressure

Rotate body of three-way nozzle only when hand-

gun is closed.

• Always direct high-pressure jet at object being

cleaned from a greater distance first of all, in order

to prevent damage if pressure is too high.

Operation with Detergent

• Draw out of the holder the metering valve for the

cleaning agent.

• Suspend the detergent hose in the detergent con-

tainer (not included).

• Set three-way nozzle to “

”.

• Set the detergent dosing-valve to the desired

dosage rate.

• We recommend that you use detergent sparingly

for the sake of the environment. Observe the re-

commended dosage on the detergent label.

• We offer you an individual cleaning and detergent

range, thereby guaranteeing fault-free work.

Universal cleaner Profi RM 555 ASF

This cleaning agent may be used undiluted.

Universal cleaner Profi RM 555 ULTRA

Automotive cleaner Profi RM 555 ULTRA

House and garden cleaner Profi RM 565 ULTRA

Boat cleaner Profi RM 575 ULTRA

Before using, these cleaning agents must be diluted

with 9 parts of water (1:9).

We recommend the following cleaning methods:

Step 1: Loosening dirt

Spray on detergent sparingly and leave for

1-4 minutes.

Step 2: Removing dirt

Spray off the loosened dirt with the high-pressure

spray.

Switching Off the Appliance

• After using a detergent, the appliance should be

rinsed clear. To do this, set the cleaning agent

metering valve to „0“ and flush the unit for appro-

ximately 1 minute with the gun open.

• Place the metering valve for the cleaning agent in

the holder.

• Switch off the appliance and disconnect the elec-

tric plug from the power socket.

• Close the water inlet and detach the appliance

from the water connection.

• Pull the trigger until there is no more pressure in

the appliance, and secure the trigger with the

safety ratchet against unintentional opening.

Moving Appliance

• To facilitate moving the unit, it is equipped with a

transport handle and a pair of wheels. This allows

walking while holding the unit by the top handle,

and rolling it — with negligible physical effort —

over longer distances.

• To transport the unit over steps or obstacles, it

must be lifted by the carrying handle.

Storing the Appliance

• Insert the handgun with spray lance into the hand-

gun storage clip.

• Roll up the high-pressure hose, and hang it on

the hose hanger.

• Roll up the power cord, and hang it over the po-

wer cord reel holder.
