Functions and operation of the training computer
Information for your safety:
• To prevent injuries from inappropriate or excessive biomechanical stress, this treadmill may only be used in accordance with the
instructions.
• Prior to the initial start-up and also after 6 days of use, the connections have to be checked for their tightness.
• Check the functionality and the proper condition of the treadmill on a regular basis.
• The user is responsible for these safety checks; these checks have to be performed duly and on a regular basis.
• The safety of the treadmill can only be ensured provided that it will be checked for damages and wear on a regular basis.
• Defects or damaged parts have to be remedied or replaced immediately. All work with regard to the electric components may be
performed by qualified personnel only. Use original spare parts from the company KETTLER only.
• The treadmill must not be used until being completely repaired.
• Before starting your training program, please consult your physician to check if your physical condition is good enough to per-
form your training with this treadmill. The findings of your physician should be used as the basis for your training program.
Improperly performed or excess training can result in damages to your health.
• The treadmill may be used for its intended purpose only, i. e. for the walking and running training of adults.
• Fasten the string of the safety switch to your clothes. Adjust the length of the string: When you stumble, the switch should be acti-
vated.
• You should become familiar with the course of movements at low speed during the first training sessions.
• When starting the training session, put your feet on both side platforms and prepare yourself for running.
• When you are uncertain, hold fast to the handrails and leave the treadmill over the side platforms; then, you have to remove the
safety key.
• When you remove the safety key, the treadmill and the height adjusting device will be deactivated immediately!
• You can prevent the treadmill from unauthorized use by third parties by removing and safely storing the safety key. Please store
the safety key carefully and keep it out of the reach of children!
Important: Always take into account the safety advice provided in the installation instructions.
