INCLINE SELECTION (INCLINE)
With the INCLINE Button (+) the incline angle is raised by 1 %.
With the INCLINE Button (-) (+) the incline angle is reduced by 1
%.
Longer pressing of this button results in an automatic values cycle.
With the INCLINE % buttons 4 %, 6 %, 8 %, 10 % for incline con-
trol you can directly select the desired incline. The gradient angle
can only be selected manually. Exceptions in this regard are the
programs with incline profiles and with the HRC program. In
these cases the gradient angle is selected automatically.
SPEED SELECTION (SPEED)
With the SPEED Taste (+) the speed during training can be incre-
ased by 0.1 km/h.
With the SPEED Taste (-) the speed during training can be decre-
ased by 0.1 km/h.
Longer pressing of this button results in an automatic values cycle.
With the SPEED km/h / mph buttons (4.0 km/h / 2.5 mph), (8.0
km/h / 5.0 mph), (12 km/h / 7.5 mph) und (16 km/h / 10
mph) you can directly select the desired speed.
PROGRAM SELECTION
Following turning on or ending of a program you can use the
SPEED buttons (+) or (-) to select a program ( 3 programs which
control the speed, 3 programs which regulate the gradient level,
1 manual program, 1 USER program and 1 heart rate control
program HRC)
The pre-set Programs (3 programs, which control the speed, and
3 programs, which control the incline level) have a standard trai-
ning time of 24 minutes. The training time can also be individu-
ally selected however. You can also select 3 different intensity
levels during program selection.
PAUSE
Should the STOP button be pressed during training, the program
will be interrupted and the Pause-Modus will be activated. Only
the START and STOP buttons function when the Pause-Modus is
activated.
Should the START button be pressed during the Pause-Modus, the
treadmill starts again at the same speed as before the activation
of the Pause function.
CALORIE CALCULATION (CAL)
The calorie calculation is a reference value. The calculated values
do not assert any medical basis.
PULS MONITORING
The treadmill is fitted with a hand pulse recorder. In order to gua-
rantee good hand pulse recording both hand pulse sensors can
be easily and completely enclosed by the hands without the need
to move the hands. Movement of the hands can lead to interfe-
rence. The display requires roughly 5 to 15 seconds in order to
display your current pulse.
The treadmill is also fitted with an inbuilt POLAR compatible heart
rate recorder. In order to be able to use the cable free system, you
will need to wear a heart rate chest strap. The heart rate chest
strap is not included within the scope of delivery of this treadmill.
We recommend the POLAR heart rate chest strap T34 which is
available to buy in specialised stores.
Please take note of the fact that the material used in your clothing
(e.g. Polyester, Polyamide) can generate static charges which
could possibly prevent the taking of a reliable heart rate reading.
Furthermore take note that mobile/cellular telephones, television
sets and other electrical devices which also generate an electro-
magnetic field which may also possibly cause problems by the
taking of a heart rate recording.
SELECTING
Metric in K=km/h or
Imperial M=mph
Through longer pressing of the STOP button and SPEED (+) but-
ton at the start screen you reach the setting „KM“. The conver-
sion is carried out by pressing the MODE button 4 times, subse-
quently by activating SPEED (+) K (km/h) will be selected or by
activating SPEED (-) M (mph) will be selected.
Subsequently keep pushing the MODE button until you return to
the welcome page.
Through the change over of the speed display from km/h or mph,
the training distance (DISTANCE) will also be changed over to the
corresponding display value. T
SERVICE DISPLAY
When the service symbol is displayed, the treadmill belt should
be serviced. Please check the belt alignment and lubrication.
Instructions can be found in the assembly guide.
ERROR MESSAGE
If errors in the control should arise during use, a number of mes-
sages will be faded into the text segment. The error messages can
be reset through the turning off and on of the mains switch. If the
error messages should appear once again you are advised to
contact the maintenance service.
DISPLAY treadmill lubrication
This symbol lights up when the treadmill needs to be coated with
a silicon lubricant.
