A portion of the water content, however, collects in the piping, where it may enter the tool mechanism.
To avoid issues that may arise, install an Air Filter and Regulator between the compressor and the tool and
ensure proper lubrication.

Air hose
Clean the hose with a blast of compressed air before connecting the hose to the air tool. This will help pre-
vent both moisture and dust within the hose from entering the tool and causing possible rust or malfunction.
To compensate for an unusually long hose (over 25 ft), the line pressure should be increased accordingly.
Accessories
Use only high quality compressed air couplings and connectors. A damaged plug or a coupling may cause
injury.
Drainage
Air line
Use a 3/8” air hose between the compressor and the tool. Compressed air is cooled and its water content
condenses as soon as the air leaves the compressor.
