Multi-section cooking
(combination of two modes)
If you need different operating modes for one cooking
process, you can combine max. 2 successive modes.
Note:
• If one of the combined modes is a defrost
mode, it must be selected rst.
• Select the rst mode and the corresponding set-
ting as described before. However, do not press the
„Start/+30Sec./Conrm“ key yet.
• Select the following mode and the corresponding set-
ting as described before.
• Press the „Start/+30Sec./Conrm“ key to conrm the
settings to start operation.
Example: If you want to defrost your dish for 5 minutes
and then heat it for 7 minutes at 80% microwave power,
proceed as follows:
• Press the „Weight/Time Defrost“ key twice so that the
display shows „dEF2“.
• Turn the knob until the desired defrost time „5:00“
appears on the display.
• Press the „Micro./Grill/Combi.“ key.
The display will show „P100“.
• Press the „Micro./Grill/Combi.“ button once or turn the
knob until the display shows „P80“.
• Conrm the setting with the „Start/+30Sec./Conrm“
key.
• Turn the knob until the display shows the desired
cooking time of „7:00“ min.
• Press the „Start/+30Sec./Conrm“ key to conrm the
setting and start operation.
• A beep is heard and operation starts with the rst coo-
king section, defrost.
The defrost time is counted down on the display.
Once this has expired, a further signal sounds to enter
the second cooking section, cooking at 80% microwave
power.
When this is nished, a ve-fold signal sounds.
Operation and settings
Inquiring functions
Display of the current power level
• Press the „Micro./Grill/Combi.“ key during operation
in microwave, grill or combination mode.
• The current power level is displayed for 3 seconds.
Then the display returns to the previous state.
Display of the clock
• Press the „Kitchen Timer / clock“ key during operation.
• The current time is displayed for 3 seconds.
Then the display returns to the previous state.
Child lock / Key lock
To prevent unintentional operation of the appliance
(e.g. by children), you can lock the function of the control
panel keys.
• To lock the control panel, press and hold the „Stop/
Clear“ key for 3 seconds.
A long beep will indicate that all keys are now without
function. The display will show the key lock icon
and the current time, if set (Otherwise, the „ “
display will be displayed).
• To unlock the control panel, press and hold the „Stop/
Clear“ key for 3 seconds as well.
A long beep and the disappearance of the icon will
indicate that the control panel is unlocked.
You can now use the appliance normally again.
General notes on operation
• To pause operation, press the „Stop/Clear“ key once
briey.
• To stop operation, to reset the settings and to switch to
standby mode, press the „Stop/Clear“ key twice.
• If the door is opened during operation, operation will
stop automatically.
Clock and timer settings remain unaffected.
• To start or continue operation (e.g. after opening the
door), press the „Start/+30Sec./Conrm“ key.
• If the „Start/+30Sec./Conrm“ key is not pressed within
1 minute after the cooking program (mode / power le-
vel / time) has been set, the settings are cancelled and
the current time is displayed.
• For each registered keystroke, a beep will sound to
conrm.
