First press the main switch (O/I); the device is now in the standby mode and can be operated with buttons 2,

3 & 4. Pressing the following buttons produces the following effect:

• Switch 1+2: Swithc on the power supply to the heater and the flame effect ( without heating)

• Switch 1+2+3: Switch on 1000 Watt heating, with flame effect

• Switch 1+2+3+4: Switch on 2000 Watt heating, with flame effect

• Other combinations of buttons do not work.

Switch off the heater by resetting all switches to the OFF position. Remove the plug from the power outlet; do

this whenever the heater is not in use.

Remote control

• The maximum range of use is 5 metres.

• Warning: It takes time for the receiver to respond to the transmitter. Do not press the buttons more than

once within two seconds for correct operation.

• The battery compartment is on the back of the remote control. Slide it open, install the 2xAAA batteries and

then slide the cover back into position.

• When you have used buttons 1 to 4 to switch the device to the desired mode you can switch it on [ ] and off [ ]

again with the remote control.

• If you wish to switch the heater off for an extended period of time or leave the room, you must switch the

device off completely with the switches and pull the plug out of the socket.

Battery Information

• 2xAAA batteries that may be used. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

• Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.

• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.

• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.

• If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.

• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

Lamp Replacement

1. Two lamps are located behind the back panel. To gain access to the lamps, the two screws which secure the

back panel, must be removed. Remove and slide out panel .

2. Remove the defective bulb by pulling it out of the holder.

3. Replace with a 25W G9 Halogen Bulb. Take care not to touch the bulb with bare hands and ensure that the

bulb is pushed home.

4. Refit the back panel and secure with the two screws.
