alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s
enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electrical shock
to persons.

AMPLIFIER REQUIREMENTS
The Klipsch QUINTET is a surround speaker system with 4 satellite speakers and
1 center channel speaker. To enjoy this system, you must hook it to a separate
“surround sound” Audio/Video (AV) receiver (not included) with speaker wire (not
included). Klipsch recommends the power level of the surround receiver you
hook up to the QUINTET is between 20-150 watts per channel. For full band-
width sound, Klipsch recommends the use of a subwoofer with the QUINTET. In
the speaker configuration settings of the connected AV receiver/surround sound
processor set all speakers to “Small” and set any “Crossover” setting to 120Hz.
The nominal impedance of the speakers in the QUINTET system is 8 ohms so if
the A/V receiver has an impedance selection choice, set it to 8 ohms.
