n For your safety, this appliance meets applicable standards and regulations (Directives on Low Voltage, Electromagnetic

Compatibility, Materials in contact with food articles, Environment, etc.).

n This appliance is designed to function on AC current only. Before using it for the first time, check that your mains supply voltage

matches that indicated on the appliance data plate.

n Given the diverse standards in effect, if the appliance is used in a country other than that in which it is purchased, have it checked

by an Approved Service Centre.

n Do not use an extension lead. If you accept liability for doing so, only use an extension lead which is in good condition, has a plug

with an earth connection and is suited to the power rating of the appliance.

n This appliance is not intended to function using an external time-switch or a separate remote control system.

n Never leave the appliance unattended whilst connected to the power supply.

n Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use.

n Never disconnect the plug by pulling on the power cord.

n Do not use your appliance if it does not operate correctly, if it has been damaged or if the power cord or plug is damaged.

n Any intervention other than normal cleaning and maintenance by customer must be performed by an Approved Service Centre.

n Never move the appliance as long as it is hot.

n Never touch the appliance while it is steaming.

n Allow the appliance to cool down completely before you clean and store it.

n The power cord must never be close to or in contact with hot parts of the appliance, rotating parts, close to a source of heat or

resting on sharp edges.

n Never place the appliance close to a wall or below a wall cupboard. The steam could cause damage.

n Never place the appliance below or close to easily inflammable objects (e.g. curtains, etc.)

n If parts of the appliance should catch fire, never try to extinguish flames with water. Disconnect the appliance and smother the

flames with a damp cloth.

n Take care when removing the eggs at the end of the cooking time, they can be very hot.

n Be careful when using the piercing needle, it is very sharp.

n If an accident occurs, rinse the burn immediately with cold water and call a doctor if necessary.

n Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories from the inside and outside of the appliance.

n Unwind the cord completely.

n If the appliance is used at the centre of the table, place it away from the reach of children.

n When used for the first time, clean the appliance and its accessories using a damp cloth.

n Position the power cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not, so that people can move freely around the table without

tripping over it.

REFRAIN FROM

n Never use the appliance when empty.

n To prevent overheating the appliance, do not place in a corner or against a wall.

n Never place your appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass table, tablecloth or varnished furniture, etc.) or on a plastic tablecloth.

n Never place cooking utensils on the appliance's cooking surfaces.

n Never place or use this appliance on or close to a heat source(e.g. cooking hob ,hot plate or naked flame).

n Never immerse the appliance or power supply cord in water or any other liquid.

INSTALLATION

n Place your cooker on a flat, stable, heat & water-resistant work surface.

n Clean the appliance (unplugged) and its accessories using a damp cloth and dry.

START-UP AND COOKING:

We recommend that you take the eggs out of the fridge in advance so that they are at room temperature before cooking.

You can choose three cooking modes for the eggs (one to seven eggs).

The markings on the water jug are for information only; the results depend on the type and size of eggs.
