■ The milk jug should only be used with the base supplied with it. Do not
use the base to heat any item other than the milk jug supplied with your
appliance.
■ After switching on your coffee maker, never put your hand on the hotplate
when you are removing the jug from the its support. While in operation,
this plate reaches a very high temperature, which could cause burns.

Before using your appliance for the first time
■ Remove all packaging, stickers and accessories from inside and outside the appliance - fig.1.
■ Run the filter coffee maker once without adding coffee using the equivalent of one jug of water to rinse it
(maximum 1 litre).
■ Wash the milk jug and the accessories with hot soapy water.
During use
■ Do not move the appliance during operation.
■ Do not unlock the milk jug while the appliance is heating.
■ While the machine is in operation, do not touch the milk jug or the glass jug as this could cause burns -

At the end of the cycle
■ Unlock the milk jug before picking it up.
■ Use the handle provided.
■ To open the lid, pull it upwards - fig.3.
■ Place the lid gently on a flat surface - fig.4.
