POSITIONING THE TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER:
The temperature transmitter can be placed on any flat surface or wall mount using the bracket which
doubles as a stand or wall mount base.
To wall mount:
1. Secure the bracket onto a desired w all using the screws and plastic anchors.
2. Clip the transmitter onto the brack et.
Note:
Before permanently fixing the transmitter wall base, place all units in the desired locations to check that the
outdoor temperature reading is receivable. In ev ent that the signal is not receiv ed, relocate the units or
move them slightly as this may hel p the signal reception.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE:
x Extreme temperatures, vibration an d shock should be avoided as th ese may cause da mage to the unit and give
inaccurate forecasts and readings.
x When cleaning t he display and casings, use a sof t damp cloth only. Do not use solvents or sc ou ring agents as
they may mark the LCD and c asings.
x Do not submerge the u nit in water.
x Immediately remove al l low powered batteries to av oid leakage and damage. Replace only with new batteries of
the recommended ty pe.
x Do not make any repai r attempts to the unit. Return them to their orig inal point of purchase for repair by a
qualified engineer. Opening and tampering with the unit may invalidate their guara ntee.
x Do not expose the unit s to extreme and sud den temperature chang es, this may lead t o rapid changes in
forecasts and readings and thereby reduce their accuracy.

materials and workmanship.
This limited warranty begins on t he original date of purchase, is valid only on products purchased and used in North
America and only to the original purchaser o f this product. To receive warranty service, the purchaser must c ontact La
Crosse Technology, Lt d for problem determin ation and service proc edures. Warranty service can only be performed
by a La Crosse Technology, Ltd authoriz ed service center. The original dated bill of sale must be presented upo n
request as proof of purchase to La Crosse Technology, Ltd or La Crosse Technology, Ltd’s authorized service center.
La Crosse Technology, Ltd w ill repair or replac e this product, at our optio n and at no charge as sti pulated herein, w ith
new or reconditioned p arts or products if found to be defective durin g the limited warranty period specified a bove. All
replaced parts and products become the property of La Crosse Technology, Ltd and must be returned to La Crosse

Replacement parts and products assume the remaining original w arranty, or ninety (90) days, whichever is long er. La
Crosse Technology, Lt d will pay all ex penses for labor and materials for all repairs covered by this warranty. If
necessary repairs are not c overed by this warranty , or if a product is examined which is not in need or repair, you w ill
be charged for the repairs or ex amination.
