“M”keypresseduntilthedisplayshowsthemessage“L1”andthedevice

pronounces the corresponding language (e.g. L1= English).

Keepingthe“M”keypressedonceagain,itispossibletoadjusttheaudio

volume;releasethe“M”keywhenthedesiredvolumeisreached.Thedevice

turns off automatically after few seconds.

DELETING THE STORED DATA

Todeleteallstoreddata,itisnecessarytokeepthekeyMpressedtillthedisplay

shows“--”;assoonasthekeyisreleased,thedisplayshows“0SYS0DIA0

PULSE 00 mem.” Now, all stored data have been deleted.

Moreover, when the batteries are replaced, all measurements are deleted

automatically.

INDICATORS

The following symbols may appear on the display:

EE: nomeasurementcouldbetakenasthearmmoved,incorrectposition,

other …. see section entitled “CORRECT MEASURING METHOD”.

: batteries finished. Replace batteries.

: Pulse frequency symbol.

M: progressive memory number assigned to each measurement.

: indicator of irregular pulse

: reference segments for the classification of the blood pressure values

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Thisunitcontainsprecisioncomponents,Hence,youshouldavoidexposing

theunittoextremechangesintemperatures,humidity,knocks,dustand

direct sunlight. Do not drop or hit the unit.

• Cleantheunitusingasoft,dryclothonly.Neverusechemicalorabrasive

products.Sincethearmletmayabsorbsweatandotherfluids,checkit

carefully for signs of dirt or discolouring after each use. Do not wash the

armlet in a washing machine and do not rub it vigorously. Use a dry cloth

andgentlywipethesurfaceclean.Takecarenevertoletliquidsgetintothe

air tube. If this happens, dry the tube thoroughly with air.

• This device is not waterproof.

• Donotpressthe“O/I”keyifthearmletisnotwrappedaroundthearm.

• Whenthedeviceisstoredaway,donotwindtherubbertubeuptoomuch

and do not place any heavy items on top of the device. Store the device in

the supplied case.

• Ifthedevicehasbeenstoredbelowfreezingpoint,keepitinwarm

surroundings for at least 1 hour before using it.

• Donotdismantleormodifythedevice.

SPECIAL CASES

If the following circumstances occur:

1) Afterpressingthe0/Ikeythereadingdoesnotstart.

• Checkthebatteriesandreplacethemifneeded.

• Cleanthecontactsofthebatterieswithadrycloth.

2) NothingappearsonthedisplaywhentheMkeyispressed.

• Thebatteriesareflat.

3) The batteries do not last long.
