햶 Under “Automatic Redial”, activate the option “Always use automatic redial”, if

you would like to directly initiate the Automatic Redial of the last number using

the Redial button.

If this option is deactivated, only a single Redial of the number dialed last will

be started.

햷 Click on “OK” to close the window.

7.4.5 Automatic Redial

Automatic Redial offers you the option of redialing a target number until the

selected line is no longer busy. You are free to define the time period

between two dial attempts. If Automatic Redial is activated, the Redial

button is animated. The selected number is shown in the display during the

dialing procedure and the state of the line changes; no ringing is produced. If

the connection is made, you will then hear a ringing signal.

Automatic Redial starts with the line used last. If a telephone conversation is

held during Automatic Redial, the redial procedure will be interrupted and

then continued after the call has been completed. If you are called by the

target number and you pick up this call, the Automatic Redial will be

cancelled.

If you call Automatic Redial again using a different number, before the

connection is made, then the first order expires. Automatic Redial always

exists for one target number only.

You can cancel a running Automatic Redial operation at any time.

This is how you start Automatic Redial

You have several options:

햲 Go to the menu bar and click on “Functions | Automatic Redial…”.

햲 Click with the right mouse button on the Redial button.

The shortcut menu will appear.

햳 Click on “Automatic Redial…”.

햲 Click with the right mouse button on the LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client user

interface.

The shortcut menu will appear.
