1 Introduction

With the hair clipper, you can have professional hair styling results right at home! This

hair clipper features a lightweight housing that is extremely durable and has a convenient

thumb controlled switch for one-hand on/off.

2 Safety instructions

When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety

precautions should always be followed, including the following:

2.1 General electrical safety and protection

• Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this manual.

• This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial purposes.

• Do not use attachments, which are not recommended by the manufacturer.

• It may not be used while bathing or in a shower.

• Do not place or store the appliance near a bath tub or sink.

• Do not place in, or drop into water or other liquid.

• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

• Do not operate the equipment if the mains plug, cable or the equipment itself is

damaged.

• If the equipment is dropped, then it must be checked by an electrician before further

use.

2.2 Hair clipper safety

• Check if the voltage indicated on the hair clipper adapter corresponds to the local

mains voltage before you connect the appliance.

• Do not touch the charger and plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.

• Children frequently underestimate the dangers associated with electrical equipment.

Therefore you must never leave children unsupervised in the vicinity of electrical

equipment. Keep the hair clipper out of children’s reach.

• Unplug this appliance before cleaning.

• Equipment connected to the mains during a thunderstorm can be damaged by

lightning. Therefore you should pull the plug out of the mains socket during a storm.

• To completely disconnect the equipment from the electricity supply, the plug must be

removed from the socket. When doing this always pull on the plug itself and never

on the cable.

• Protect the mains cable from hot surfaces or other sources of damage and do not

allow it to become constrained.

• Check the mains cable regularly for any damage.

• Unwind the mains cable completely before use.

• Make sure that the mains cable does not represent a trip hazard.

Read this manual carefully before use. Put the user guide

away in a safe place for future reference.
