uHold the rear panel with both hands at the bottom and

pull downward vigorously at the same time.

uPull the rear panel out to the front by the bottom end.

wThe rear panel has been removed.

If you want to continue operating the appliance with the

rear panel removed:

uSet the D-Value to D2. (see D-Value*)

uMake sure the appliance is completely empty.

uSlide in the rear panel from below to the top.

uPress back vigorously on the left-hand side of the rear

panel.

wThe rear panel clicks into place.

uInsert the equipment parts.

uSet the D-Value to D1. (see D-Value*)

8.4.5 Clean the components

NOTICE

Improper cleaning!

Damage to the appliance.

uOnly use soft cleaning cloths and ph-neutral all-purpose

cleaners.

uDo not uses abrasive sponges or steel wool which may

cause scratches.

uDo not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents, nor

any that contain sand, chloride or acid.

Clean with a soft, clean cloth, lukewarm water and some

detergent:

- Door rack

- Shelf

- Dividing shelf*

- VarioSafe*

- EasyFresh-Safe cover

- Drawer

Wash in the dishwasher up to 60 °C:

- Bottle rack

- Holder of the dividing shelf*

- Ice cube tray*

uTo disassemble components: see the relevant section.

uClean the components.

8.4.6 Cleaning the EasyTwist-Ice*

Cleaning is required in the following cases:

qInitial operation

qDisuse for more than 48 hours

qThe appliance requires cleaning.

In the case of initial operation, longer periods of disuse or

the appliance requiring cleaning

uTake out the water tank Fig. 46 (1) and ice cube drawer

uTake out the freezer drawer with EasyTwist-Ice.

uPress the lug Fig. 47 (1), lift up the EasyTwist-Ice at the

rear and take it out of the freezer drawer.

uPress the lugs Fig. 48 (1) on both sides of the EasyTwist-

Ice simultaneously and take off the lid Fig. 48 (2) to the

top.
