Hot steam can lead to burns and can damage the surfaces.

uDo not use any steam cleaners!

uWipe the housing down with soft, clean cloth. If very

dirty, use lukewarm water with a neutral cleaner. Glass

surfaces can also be cleaned with glass cleaner.

8.3.3 Cleaning the interior

NOTICE

Improper cleaning!

Damage to the appliance.

uOnly use soft cleaning cloths and ph-neutral all-purpose

cleaners.

uDo not uses abrasive sponges or steel wool which may

cause scratches.

uDo not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents, nor

any that contain sand, chloride or acid.

uPlastic surfaces: clean by hand with a soft clean cloth,

lukewarm water and a little detergent.

uMetal surfaces: clean by hand with a soft clean cloth,

lukewarm water and a little detergent.

8.3.4 Clean the components

8.3.5 Cleaning the EasyTwist-Ice

Cleaning is required in the following cases:

qInitial operation

qDisuse for more than 48 hours

qThe appliance requires cleaning.

In the case of initial operation, longer periods of disuse or

the appliance requiring cleaning

uTake out the water tank Fig. 27 (1) and ice cube drawer

uTake out the freezer drawer with EasyTwist-Ice.

uPress the lug Fig. 28 (1), lift up the EasyTwist-Ice at the

rear and take it out of the freezer drawer.

uPress the lugs Fig. 29 (1) on both sides of the EasyTwist-

Ice simultaneously and take off the lid Fig. 29 (2) to the

top.

uPress all lugs Fig. 30 (1) in succession and remove the lid

Fig. 30 (2).

uClean the ice cube drawer, water tank and EasyTwist-Ice

with warm water and a little detergent.

uAssemble the EasyTwist-Ice.
