Defect Cause Remedy

→The appliance is too near to a heat

source (stove, heater etc).

uChange location of appliance or the heat source.

→The appliance was not properly

installed in the recess.

uMake sure the appliance was installed correctly and the

door closes properly.

The door seal is

defective or should

be replaced for

other reasons.

→The door seal is interchangeable.

You can replace it without the use

of any special tools.

uContact Customer Service (see 9.4 Customer service) .

The appliance is

iced up or conden‐

sation is building.

→The door seal may have slipped out

of its groove.

uCheck the door seal is well placed in the groove.

9.3.2 Equipment

Defect Cause Remedy

The IceMaker

cannot be

switched on.*

→The appliance and therefore the

IceMaker are not connected.

uConnect the appliance (see Installation Guide).

The IceMaker is

not making any ice

cubes.*

→ The IceMaker is not switched on. uActivate the IceMaker.

→The drawer of the IceMaker is not

properly closed

uClose the drawer properly

→ The water connection is not open uOpen the water connection*

The IceMaker is

not working.*

→ There is air in the system. uVent the water system (see Installation Instructions,

Water Connection).

The InfinitySpring

is not working.*

→ The ice cube tray rotates. uTray again after 1 minute.*

→ There is air in the system. uVent the water system (see Installation Instructions,

Water Connection).

→ The water connection is not open uOpen the water connection*

The water flow at

the InfinitySpring

is irregular.*

→ The aerator is not clean. uReplace the aerator. Contact Customer Service

(see 9.4 Customer service) .

HydroBreeze is not

keeping refriger‐

ated foods moist.*

→ HydroBreeze is not activated. uActivate the HydroBreeze.

→There is not enough water in the

water tank

uFill the water tank.

→There is dirt upstream of the

concentrator.

uClean the HydroBreeze.

→The water tank is not properly

locked into place.

uMake sure the water tank clicks in properly.

→The lid of the Fruit & Vegetable-

Safe is set to “low air moisture”.

uAdjust the lid of the Fruit & Vegetable-Safe to “high air

moisture”.

The interior light

does not turn on.

→ The appliance is not switched on. uSwitch on the appliance.

→The door was open for longer than

15 min.

uThe interior light automatically switches itself off if the

door stays open for approx. 15 min.

→The LED interior light is faulty or

the lid is damaged.

uContact Customer Service (see 9.4 Customer service) .

support) . If this is not the case, please contact customer

service.
