8.4 Cleaning the appliance

8.4.1 Ready

WARNING

Danger of electric shock!

uRemove the refrigerator connector or interrupt the power

supply.

WARNING

Risk of fire

uDo not damage the refrigeration circuit.

uEmpty the appliance.

uRemove mains connector.

8.4.2 Cleaning the interior

NOTICE

Improper cleaning!

Damage to the appliance.

uOnly use soft cleaning cloths and ph-neutral all-purpose

cleaners.

uDo not uses abrasive sponges or steel wool which may

cause scratches.

uDo not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents, nor

any that contain sand, chloride or acid.

uPlastic surfaces: clean by hand with a soft clean cloth,

lukewarm water and a little detergent.

uMetal surfaces: clean by hand with a soft clean cloth,

lukewarm water and a little detergent.

uDrain hole: remove deposits using a thin item (for

example a cotton bud).

8.4.3 Cleaning the dry rear panel*

You can remove the dry rear panel for cleaning.

uRemove all equipment parts.

uUnscrew the bracket of the water tank with a torx screw‐

driver.

wThe bracket remains attached to the side panel via

various connections and cannot be completely removed.

uHold the rear panel with both hands at the bottom and

pull downward vigorously at the same time.

uPull the rear panel out to the front by the bottom end.

wThe rear panel has been removed.

If you want to continue operating the appliance with the

rear panel removed:

uSet the D-Value to D2. (see D-Value*)

uMake sure the appliance is completely empty.

uSlide in the rear panel from below to the top.

uPress back vigorously on the left-hand side of the rear

panel.

wThe rear panel clicks into place.

uScrew the water tank bracket firmly in place.

uInsert the equipment parts.

uSet the D-Value to D1. (see D-Value*)

8.4.4 Clean the components

detergent:

- Door rack

- Shelf

- Dividing shelf*

- VarioSafe*

- EasyFresh-Safe cover

- Drawer

Please note: Do not remove the magnet on the drawer.

The magnet ensures the functionality of the IceMaker.*

- Divider in the IceMaker drawer*

Clean with a damp cloth:

- Retractable rails

Please note: The grease in the tracks is used for lubrica‐

tion and must not be removed!
