Defect Cause Remedy

The door opens at

a different speed.

→The speed of the door depends on

how much is stored in it.

uNo action is required.

The door jams or

does not open

smoothly.

→A vacuum is created if you open

the door too many times quickly in

succession.

uWait a while or open the door manually.

The motor stops

and the door does

not close.

→There are objects blocking the

door.

uRemove the objects.

uPush the drawers all the way in.

uWait a while.

uMove the door manually.

→ The mechanism is blocked. uTo avoid damaging the hinge: Do not move the door

against the motor.

uContact customer service. (see 9.4.1 Contact Customer

Services)

→ The motor is overheated. uLet the motor cool down.

uWait a while.

uMove the door manually.

The door opening

angle cannot be

saved.

→The selected door opening angle is

too small.

uSet a different door opening angle: Select a door opening

angle of at least 70°. Liebherr recommends at least 90°,

so that you can easily pull out the drawers. (see Auto‐

Door)

The door does

not respond to

knocking.

→ You are not knocking hard enough. uIncrease the sensitivity of the knocking sensor. The

knocking sensor is on the hinge side on the narrow side

of the door. (see the installation instructions)

→The knocking function is not acti‐

vated.

uActivate the AutoDoor function. (see AutoDoor)

The door does not

close by voice

command.

→ The voice assistant is not set up. uSet up the voice assistant. (see AutoDoor)
