Karaoke Audio

Switch the singing option (karaoke audio) on, if

you want to play a multi-channel karaoke DVD.

The karaoke channels on the disc are mixed into

normal stereo sound.

Press . The menu is displayed.

Select the lock option with  / .

The lock entry is selected. Press  to call up the

second level.

Select the “Password“ option with  / .

Press  to call up the third level.

If you have not yet entered a password:

Enter a 4-digit code with the number keys to

create a personal password and press OK. Enter

the 4-digit password again for security and press

OK to conﬁ rm.

If you have already entered a password:

Enter the password and press OK.

Note: If you make a mistake, press  repeatedly

to delete or correct the password digits one after

the other before pressing OK.

If the “Change“ option is selected, press OK.

Enter a new 4-digit password using the number

keys and press OK.

Then enter the password again for security and

conﬁ rm by pressing OK.

Note: If you input the code incorrectly, press 

repeatedly to delete or correct the password digits

one after the other before pressing OK.

Delete Password

If you want to switch the password protection off,

proceed as follows.

Press

. The main menu is displayed.

Select the lock option with  / .

The lock entry is selected. Press  to call up the

second level.

Select the “Password“ option with  / .

Press  to call up the third level.

Select the “Delete“ option and press OK.

Enter the current 4-digit password using the

number keys and press OK.

Have you Forgotten the Current

Password?

If you have forgotten your password, proceed as

you would to delete the current password.

Press

to display the menu.

Use the number keys to enter the 6-digit code

“210449“.

Select “Yes“ and press OK. The 4-digit password is

deleted. Enter a new code as shown left.

Rating

Films on DVD can contain scenes that are not

suitable for children. For this reason discs can

contain child protection information that applies

to the whole disc or only to certain scenes on the

disc. The ratings are country-dependent. The child

lock function enables you to prevent your children

watching certain discs or scenes.

Select the “Rating“ option with  / .

Press  to call up the third level.

Follow step 6 as described left (see „Password“).

Select a protection level between 1 and 8 using

the  /  keys. 1 has the least playback limita-

tions. 8 has the most playback limitations.

No Limits: If you select “No Limits“ the child
