Safety instructions
• Check that the voltage of your power supply matches that shown on the
identification plate of your appliance.
• Your appliance must always be plugged into an earthed socket, using the power
cord supplied by the manufacturer. If you use an extension lead, this must be
earthed.
• Never use the appliance if the power cord has been damaged. This cord must be
replaced by the manufacturer, a Magimix approved service agent or any similarly-
qualified person in order to avoid all danger.
• Always unplug your appliance before you move or clean it or if there is some sort
of anomaly. Never tug on the power cord to unplug it.
• Never place the appliance, pot or power cord on or next to a very hot surface.
• Never fill the tank above the maximum level, as the pot may overflow.
• If you have just brewed some coffee, wait for approximately 5 min. before
brewing a fresh quantity, to give the appliance time to cool down.
• Never leave children unattended near the appliance.
• Never immerse your appliance in water.
• Only put cold water in the tank and never any other type of liquid.
• Never use your appliance outside.
• This appliance is intended exclusively for domestic use and has not been designed
for professional/commercial use.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
unless they have been given initial supervision or instruction concerning the use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
