The date of recording can be printed directly onto the images.
This feature must be activated before taking a picture.

This setting determines whether a a picture is briefly previe-
wed on the monitor immediately after it is recorded.

Video mode
− Press the M (mode) button and select the video mode [ ].
− Press the button Menu [9] to access the settings menu.
− In the video menu [ ] select the desired option with the
/ buttons and press the shutter button to enter the
submenu.
− Select the desired option with the / buttons and press
the shutter button to confirm the selection.
− Press the button Menu [9] to exit the menu.
− To exit a submenu without making a change, press the
button [9].
Factory setting values are highlighted with a „star“ [*]
Movie Size
This option sets the resolution of the photo to be recorded.
• VGA* (640 x 480), QVGA (320 x 240)
White Balance
See white balance in the photo mode (page 24).

Setup Menu
In the setup menu the basic settings of your camera can be
set.
− Press the button Menu [9] in the photo mode [ ] or
video mode [ ] to access the settings menu.
− Select the Setup menu [ ] by pressing the button .
− In the Setup menu [ ] select the desired option with the
/ buttons and press the shutter button to enter the
submenu.
− Select the desired option with the / buttons and press
the shutter button to confirm the selection.
− Press the button Menu [9 to exit the menu.
− To exit a submenu without making a change, press the
button [9].
In the following the factory setting values are highlighted
with a „star“ [*].
Sounds
Here you can specify whether the camera should sound a
tone when it is switched on and each time you press a button.
• Off/ On*
Light Frequency
The camera supports the lighting frequencies of 50 Hz and 60
Hz. When photographing under fluorescent lighting, select
the correct frequency setting, according to the voltage used
in your local area. This feature will only be active if you set
„Fluorescent” in the white balance menu.
