Never store or transport a battery in a bag/toolbox or the like if there is any risk of them coming
into contact with metal objects.
Remove dead batteries from the device immediately. Dispose of batteries in accordance with the
law.
Use
Place the Desk Magni er on a text or object that you want to look at in magni ed form. The
maximum 5-times enlargement applies to objects on the base of the Desk Magni er. Press the
silver outside ring on the Desk Magni er to switch the light on or o . The light will switch o
automatically after 10 minutes.
Replacing batteries
Open the battery compartment on the inside of the Desk Magni er by sliding the cover in the
direction of the arrow and lifting the cover. Remove both existing batteries and insert 2 new
batteries of type “CR 2016”.
Please ensure that both batteries are inserted in the same direction of Plus (+) and Minus (-) pole.
The plus pole should be pointing towards you.
Cleaning
Do not use strong cleaning agents such as methylated spirits or thinners etc. to clean your Desk
Magni er. If necessary, clean your Desk Magni er using a soft, dry cloth.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging segregated by material and in an environmentally friendly
manner in the containers provided for that purpose. Batteries may not be disposed of
with your household waste. Consumers are required by law to return batteries after
use to council recycling points or retailers selling batteries. For that reason, batteries
carry the symbol on the right.
Correct disposal of this product:
The symbol on the right indicates that electrical equipment in the EU may not be
disposed of with your normal household waste. Please use your local return and
collection systems, or contact the dealer from whom you bought the product. This will
prevent possibly harmful e ects on the environment and health through inappropriate
disposal. Your local council o ces can give you information.
Note:
• Please avoid to use the magni er in the high static environment, if the LED is turned off by
high static, please re-turn on.
