What is MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014
Premium?
MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium is a gentle but powerful cleaner for all
kinds of acoustic material including records, tapes, CD tracks, speech recordings and
MP3s. Digital cleaning removes everything from light crackling to severe interference
on scratched records, old cassettes and MP3s that have been compressed too many
times. A fine polish of the sound brings new life to every song and the disc-burning
function lets you save your sensitive sound material on audio or data CD to protect it
from further damage.
Individual tracks, even individual passages within a track can be given their own effect
settings. Additionally, the entire sound can be cleaned up, refreshed, and especially
important for compilations, the volume can be balanced.
MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium is fast, easy-to-use and very gentle:
Almost all effects are calculated in realtime during playback without damaging the
recorded material in the least. The original recordings and songs remain untouched on
the hard disk. This means you can experiment as much as you like without having to
worry about causing any lasting damage to your audio material.

MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium comes in two versions, MAGIX Audio
Cleaning Lab 2014 and MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium. This program help
file and manual describes the functions in MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014 Premium.
Program functions that are not available in the "smaller" version MAGIX Audio
Cleaning Lab 2014 are indicated throughout document. The control elements
illustrated in the help file and manual represent the MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014
Premium interface. In the smaller version the interface is similar and only has a
different base color.
The following functions are only available in MAGIX Audio & Music Lab 2014
Premium and are not in MAGIX Audio Cleaning Lab 2014:
• Detailed editing with effects: In MAGIX Audio Cleaning Lab 2014 the individual
effects in the cleaning and mastering sections can be controlled by selecting
presets and using the effect intensity slider. The interfaces for advanced effect
settings are not available.
